Howdy all , so I just got an old nec cdr 273 4x cd rom drive , and I'm having issues getting it to detect , it keeps giving me a CD rom drive not ready error, anyone know what the problem could be?

Okay so basically I just swapped the driver to oakcdrom and now it works 😁
