Hello All,

I have a Diamond Speedstar Pro VLB in my collection for several years that I bought on EBay. It never worked, I have no clue why I didn't returned it, but anyway, at some point I realized that it works, the problem is that the output was extremely dim, I had to turn the monitor brightness all the way up and it was still very dim, no artifacts, just dim. I started looking for loose pins, burnt caps, etc, but I wasn't able to find any obviously damaged components. I have all kinds of tools in my work bench so repairing is not the problem, knowledge is!
I grabbed my multimeter and tested what I could, I don't remember exactly, that was a few years ago. I don't think it's a ram or bios issue since it boots up, I guess it may be one of the other chips or a bad cap.
Any suggestions about where should I start looking for issues? What can be causing a dim output on a video card?
For reference: the mobo, monitor and psu were not the problem, I tested other VLB cards in that system.

Thanks!
