Some graphical interface objects seem not to be using the same shade of gray, I think it happened after I updated my windows 98, it's the second time this happens but I don't know what causes it.

Graphics card low on toner...

Just kidding, I've seen it before, and "messed around" until it went away but don't know specific cause and fix, messing around probably entailed reinstalling graphics drivers and directX and booting to safe mode and back.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

I'd try setting the color theme to something completely different and then back to default one.
