I'm looking for a freeware to compare 2 systems, one is a pc with windows xp and the other windows 7 laptop. thank you guys.

Fujitsu E910 / i5 3470T / 4GB DDR3 1600 / Intel Q77 chipset / 250w (85+) PSU / 320GB HDD (Xp) - 240GB SSD (windows 7)

What do you want to benchmark?
Crystal Disk Mark can do hard drive, Aida64 is good for various stuff and I think the benchmarks aren't taken out of the free version.
For gaming performance I'd suggest games. Built-in benchmarks and longer gameplays with MSI Afterburner benchmark.
I don't trust synthetic benchmarks like 3DMark and Unigine unless I test the same PC on different OSs or before and after OC.
