Hi folks,

Anyone who has stores or eBay sales with PayPal, do you get to choose what payment types you accept through PayPal, like only credit cards or only bank transfers, or only paypal funds or something???

Just asking because PayPal seems to randomly force a payment type on me, or also change selected payment type, it's driving me nuts not knowing what it will go to.

I've had "conversations" with PayPal support about it, if you can call having the same section of the help quoted at me 6 times a conversation and all I wanted to do is scream back "Get it through your f****g thick head that's it's not f****g doing that!!!" so basically complete denial that my problems exist (Or tier 1 is clueless dicks) basically it was like "I've done a minimum effort cut and paste so I'm closing your ticket" so half the time was getting the ticket re-opened and then getting the same thing over and over and over.

Anyhooooooo, just wondering if it's a thing at all that merchants are selecting payment types.

Also, another question solely for eBay sellers, does it make a difference at all whether I pay credit card through PayPal or eBay if both types accepted, in terms of fees hassle etc???

I think I just wanna do eBay payment when I wanna use CC and leave paypal out of it until I can't.
