.dlls not showing in folders on win98

I tried placing a glide.dll file to usb and then onto a win98 machine but the 98 machine won't show the .dll files.
They are invisible is there a fix?
Maybe a folder option problem.

edit they are invisible on USB and not system don't know why USB only.

Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab > Show hidden files, folder and drives + uncheck "Hide protected system files"
