Hi, does anyone had any luck with thrustmaster usb steering wheel in Windows Xp? There are 2011, 2014 and 2015 drivers for Win XP.

Force feedback in Control Panel works, but normal controls do not work.

Tried also downgrading the firmware with the one bundled in 2015 win xp driver. Now upon restart, it is detected, but the wheel constantly rotates and vibrates. So I guess I will need to upgrade firmware back.

Someone on FB posted he plays on Win XP with Thrustmaster wheel last year.

I currently seem to solve it, but need more investigation if it support F1 wheel add-on (I guess it will).

How I fixed it:
1) uploaded latest firmware to steering wheel on Windows 10
2) installed 2013 driver on Win XP
3) switched F1 add-on to the original F1 alcantara
4) now it works, T300 gets identified as T500, but everything works
5) tested in Toca Race Driver 1, but had to apply patch v1.1 in order to be able to map steering rotation left & right (not working before, force feedback works)

I also remember there was some pedals firmware update one year ago. Perhaps that was the issue. For debugging purposes, you might try to disconnect the pedals and try just the wheel in WinXP. There was some PDF about pedals firmware update. I guess it is possible to downgrade that behavior as well. But currently, it works on 2013 driver in WinXP, including this new firmware.

Happy racing!
