The prior last 2 laptops I've bought were not on the internet for a single second, to my knowledge. I like the idea of being insulated from malware and such. If I need something I'll download it to my phone and transfer it by cable. Ok my Crimebook was used on the internet with regularity I guess, but that doesn't count and I hate it.

Anyway I have this new little Asus doohicky and figured it was time to break with tradition. Thing is I'd really likr a way to save my current firmeare and restore it as necessary, or even periodically. If that's possible. Rase don't lecture me, I just want to know if someone is mussing with my business.
