Hi all!

Guys, i have a technical question, maybe someone can answer me:

I have a Sound Galaxy Pro 16 II card (MMSN845) and i'm just making a Waveblaster daughterboard with SAM2695 chip.
But i have some doubts: Sound Galaxy Pro 16 II card has two headers: one 26pin and second one with 34 pins.
Please tell me: can i connect an ordinary waveblaster compatible module to this card and will it work? Or maybe this card requires Wavetide modules and regular Waveblaster modules won't work?

Thanks in advance for reply 😀

Yes the lower connector is just used by Aztech Daughterboards. It should work just fine if you use the upper one.

Ok, so now i'm waiting for PCBs. When they arrive, i'll assemble the module and try to run it 😀

Just buy an X2GS from Serdaco. That gives you HQ GM and GS-compatible MIDI.

I considered this module, or dreamblaster s2, but I came to the conclusion that making such a module myself will give me more fun.
