Hi, having trouble getting DosBox to see my floppy disk images. Can anyone see what the problem might be with this installation? Thanks

Mark

You can't mount images from from a mounted drive. You have to do the full path your host uses.
i.e. imgmount a "/users/blah/etc/disk1.img" -t floppy

Thanks for that. I got it working as you suggested but now, after a few brief setup questions the installer keeps looping asking to install TBBS 2.3 Master Disk 1 into drive a:

I suspect there is some sort of copy protection on the disk. I have tried doing this several ways through DosBox but none of them get past the first few setup questions before doing the dreaded "insert" loop.

If anyone has experience setting up TBBS/TDBS on DosBox I would be delighted to hear from you.

Thanks
Mark

It does work without anything weird going on, there is no copy protection on the disks (at least not on my disks) as a serial was needed.
The installer after the initial questions starts copying files from the 1st disk. It then asks to insert the 2nd disk, where you have to press CTRL+F4 to switch to the second disk image before pressing enter and continue copying. Where exactly does your attempt fail, can you post a screenshot of the exact moment? If it doesn't even start copying any file, could it be that there's something wrong with your images?
