I've read some other threads but still it doesnt work with glidos.
It doesn't start...

I've got vdmsound set path in ini file to an actual directory but it still doesn't work with carmav.exe

Also I got all the recent drivers for my Radeon 9000, so opengl must be working as it works with other games.

I have found that glidos does not like playing the start up movie on carmageddon from the cd, simple fix forget all that other crap and just try installing a no cd patch for the 3dfx exe, theres a link around here somewhere, sourced for a russian guy.
