Just put together a 486DLC-40 machine with MG-38606 motherboard.

Display card is ET4000 and yes, it's fast.

I'm just wondering is it a bug or something wrong somewhere but when I'm watching demos like Second Reality by Future Crew or Stars by Nooon it gives blue colored flicker on the background when fading text.

Never seen that before on any other display card, and everything else works with that ET4000. Anybody else have seen this behaviour? Just wanted to know is it a bug in ET4000 or what.

Tried different jumper settings on the card and every bios setting but won't make any difference.

Figured it out!

This card needs 4 recovery-clocks in bios even with 8MHz ISA bus clock. With zero recovery clocks it makes that color corruption or something else. 13,3MHz ISA bus clock is too much even with 12 recovery clocks but 12,5 or lower works.
