I want to customize the boot menu of a Win98 boot floppy disk for other use. I've learned about how to config the entries of the menu, but haven't found way to change the title bar. Is it even possible?

If you can find the exact line in IO.SYS or msdos.sys not sure which one, you can use a hex editor to replace the characters.

Thanks, I found the text in IO.SYS. After the modification, however, the boot process stuck at "Verifying DMI Pool Data ......". I didn't change the encoding, by the way. Why is that?
EDIT: I have to say that I didn't change the length of the text, just changed "Windows 98" to "Windows 97" for testing.
Don't know why, but modifying the file using UltraEdit causing the issue. Then I used IDA Pro instead and it worked.
