Bioforge is extremely laggy. I'm using DOSBOX on XP. any ideas?

After searching the forums, it seems some people were able to run it using DOSBox. How did you try to run it?.

Intel i7 5960X
Gigabye GA-X99-Gaming 5
8 GB DDR4 (2100)
8 GB GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (Gigabyte)

Hi,

I finally got bioforge to work but (and i knew it was too good to be true):

it's EXTREMELY laggy. how do i get it faster?

From another forum, I found another user had his speed factor in 'install.opt' set to 3. Mine was at 20 ... I changed it to 3 and the speed is fine now using DosBox.
