I had this build now for over 15 years and it switched over the time in different cases.
But for the last years its a Silverstone Raven what is pretty nice because the board is flipped to get no problems with hanging PCBs.
Back in the days Sony first Development Kit (playstation 1) was based on PC parts. There was different Revs from H2000 (two ISA boards), H2500 PCI and the H2700 (three layer ISA).
Over the years i had all, but stayed with the PCI H2500. It has attached drive H2510 what let you able start disc games over sdk. The Build has also a CD- Emulator from SN-Systems and an special IO Port for controller and memory card.
The P2B has great chipset to get all the boards working perfect on Win98SE.
As GPU i used a Geforce 256 what gives me no conflicts on PCI bus.
Feel free to ask if you interested about functions in detail.
Im happy to share this little different retro PC.

That's really cool! How does it work on the software side? Does it just run PS1 games?

How does it work? I have never seen anything like it
I really like his aesthetics, please tell me that he is capable of doing that thing.

Here in my cave I have a PlayStation 1 controller connected to a retro PC. I usually use VGS connectix. Which runs original games and jack sparrow games.

Please tell as much as you want and take as many photos as you want. Surely many of us enjoy seeing these kinds of things from the past.

Thank you very much and best regards. 😀

It works pretty simple. You can run cd games or your own code with the sdk. The video output is over the h2500 with a av cable connected. The h2500 has anything that a normal ps1 has. Also the cd-emulator is connected to a hdd where you can run cd images without using the cd drive.
