Hi,
lately I had the not great idea of switching an home TV audio config to go for a wireless headphone config which I thought would have been ok. Instead I find that Bluetooth is still hardly near to what I expected. I bought two trasmitters and many headphones still not finding a good setup that has low latency and an acceptable volume from the headphones trasmitter to connect to the blueray reader audio output.
First trasmitter is a cheap rebranded design which has 5.0 specification level, digital optical/coaxial (!)/ analog in, up to 1A (probably) 5V USB-C power requirement. It works well and loud in both coaxial and aux in but latency is a problem supporting probably SBC/AAC (maybe) only codecs. Second trasmitter's aptx LL supported BT 4.1 specification device but doesn't have coaxial input I'd need for the blueray output and trasmit low volume audio in every headphones SBC/AAC and aptx LL ones. I should have gone with a classic FM wireless config or an amplifier for cabled headphones to probably solve these problems. I can compensate the latency with the blueray reader menu option up to 120ms but not sure is enough or working as supposed to because not completely solving the problem. I can't solve the volume problem beside changing all the devices again.
Any trasmitter that you know amplify wireless signal with modern features? Some may say they are not amplified but I'm sure the two trasmitter has a much different volume level on the same headphones.
Thanks
