Nvidia Geforce FX5500 blank screen

Hi

A while ago i got this Nvidia Geforce FX5500 gpu with 256MB of RAM that was only displaying only a blank screen. I've tried to clean the pads and to reflow the core, but that didn't work. I only got it to display once. Whats weird is that, the screen was moving to the right until my monitor refreshed and it went back to a blank screen. I can see the resolution of the screen changing. I will also add that there weren't any artifacts. Any ideas what to try next?

You can try replacing the capacitors. I’ve had quite a few FX5200 and FX5500 cards that needed new caps.

Thanks for the suggestion. Sadly, before i could try recapping, the card fried itself. Don't know why or how.
