Hi everyone,

I’m trying to get my HP t5710 able to play some old DOS games I have through a USB CD ROM. I’ve tried to use Panasonic's USBASPI.SYS (as well the MediaLogic driver), but can never get beyond "initializing host controller" as the machine just hangs. So, I’ve never been able to even load the USBCD.SYS driver to determine if it even works. I’m not particularly well versed in DOS usage, so it’s more than likely I’m doing something wrong.

Does anyone have any experience with this, or is it just not possible with this thin client?

Hi, I'm sorry, I do have little experience here.
But there's another USB mass storage driver being mentioned at win31.de: http://win31.de/edrivers.htm

A copy of the file can be found here: https://web.archive.org/web/20070611152445/ht … ds/duse_4_4.zip

Thanks for help! After loading, it seems to hang at initialization still, with or without a CD drive plugged in.

According to the PDF, I should see:

EHCI USB Controller initialized (BASE 0xXXXX[, IRQ XX])
OHCI USB Controller initialized (BASE 0xXXXX[, IRQ XX])
UHCI USB Controller initialized (I/O 0xXXXX[, IRQ XX])

but I just get a blinking cursor after the initial copyright. The verbose option doesn't seem to work.
