No, the cursor keys seem to work fine. Oh, and pressing ESC on the command line gives me a \ followed by a line break (not sure if that's normal).

I don't know what other SDL titles I could try that take text input and come pre-compiled...

I'm using v0.65 (sorry, thought I had mentioned that). I tried changing that setting and there was no difference.

OK, I know keyboard layout problems are common. However I'm using a US-version Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro (the original BIG one). It's plugged in via a PS2 port. Windows XP MCE 2005's region screen shows me as using English (United States) -> Keyboard -> US. But a bunch of keys do not work …
