256 colors didn't work. I've also tried different compatibility modes. With Krondor I got it to stop giving me the error message. But now when it starts the screen goes black for a second then it closes back to my desktop.

Well of course I tried that. With Fallout The screen goes black every few seconds. I can put the whole sceen back to normal by going to the preferences menu but it goes black again right away. With Krondor I get an error message saying that an installable Virtual Device driver failed DLll …

When I try and start Fallout I get a message saying "this is a Windows NT windowed executable" So how do I get that to run? With Krondor after I start the game the command screen goes black and nothing happens. I'm using dosbox version 0.65
