The only option is memsize=63 in the config file ("DOSBox Preferences" by default. While 63 is the highest possible value.

I need to do this because dosbox doesn't understand non-us keyboards and the keymapper is crap. I must comment this. I think, the mapper has been implemented the best way it was possible for a platform-independent piece of software. A better keymapper GUI maybe can be realized by frontends, isn't …

Just letting you know that I had the same problem (DOSBOX freezes after 20-30 minutes in most games I've tried). Tested it w/a DOS self-running demo game, leaving DOSBox and the whole computer alone for 20 minutes - coming back to it - it hangs. Newer spent 20 minutes to DOSBox at once playing …
