I should have added that it is within a Windows 10 system. But I also checked the emulation on an older Windows 98 PC that I still have. Same result, so that's not the issue.

There appears to be a file missing from the archive that would allow access to 32 bit color. The "readme" notes refers to a third color depth driver, 3fxhv332.exe. Does anyone have this file from another source?

The machine is not set to Tandy, as later versions of DM used VGA. Only the sound is set to Tandy, either 3-voice or DAC depending on the SB type setting.
