Re: full screen issues

Nope, none of the outputs make any difference. The result is always the same, which leads me to believe that DOSBox isn't doing something that it should be doing according to the config. By the way, the game in question is Toonstruck. Maybe it's just the game giving trouble?

Re: DOSBox complete documentation

Yeah, I got that. For now, just max will do just fine. Mouse cursor movement in Toonstruck's main menu is very smooth now, as it is everywhere else! Now, if only Pandora Directive would run entirely smoothly... not that it's not entirely playable. 😀

DOSBox complete documentation

Hi, I couldn't find a thorough manual for DOSBox, really. I mean, there is plenty of information and the config file documents itself, but does for instance make no mention of cycles=max (which did wonders for a few games!) I'm also pleased to have discovered Win32a, but that's outside of DOSBox's …

Re: full screen issues

I know I'm hijacking the thread a bit, but I'm having the same problem, anyway. ;) I've tried several outputs: overlay, opengl, ddraw... to no avail. I could try upgrading my video drivers, but they are pretty recent and I have little faith that it will help... But you're telling me that it should …

Re: full screen issues

Isn't there a way to do the scaling in full-screen mode? I have this same problem and you gave me similar advise, but I'd like to get rid of the title bar and taskbar while playing a game. Also, it seems to keep aspect ratio, even when I have aspect=false. I'd love to just have fullscreen scaled to …

Re: 640x400 on a TFT screen

Right, okay. I got that. But for some strange reason, 1200x1024 (my native and desktop resolution) isn't full-screen. The window is bigger, but fits nicely onto my desktop and I don't understand why. If I make it something like 1250x1050, it'll fit better, but that just doesn't make sense to me. …

Re: 640x400 on a TFT screen

Yeah, obviously. 😀 But I'm supposing that my screen is in 640x480 and DOSBox projects the 640x400 graphics on my screen, filling the top and bottom with black bars. Right? What am I misunderstanding? I've seen parameters for scaling in the config, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

640x400 on a TFT screen

Hi, I'm having the terrible feeling here that this has been asked a million times before, but somehow I can't find any info on it either on this forum or through Google. I'm also having a hard time believing that this isn't fixable. So maybe you could go easy on me and at least point me in the right …
