After getting the game to load I reconfig'd my sound settings to "Sound Blaster (orig.) and got that to work. Also I used Dosbox to run the game, not VDMSound. Thanks so much everyone for your help.

Ah Ha, thanks for the tip. I got v0.71 and replaced those windows file and can play the game yipee! But...... I did get the sound problems. I know there's plenty of posts already so I'll not bother the MODS on this issue. Thanks for the help!
