I got a zipfiel with the unpacked files from a friend (normally need to run the installer from the cd). So I am thinking that even if I would burn these unpacked files on cd the game would not recognize it as the orginal cd.. but I have no idea..

Hi all, I am trying to network an old strategy game called M.A.X. (Mechanized Assault and Exploration) but when I want to host a network game it asks me to please insert the CD. I don't have the CD, I only have the unpacked items on my c drive.. What should I do? Thanks!
