Re: How to get Adlib sound support on WinMe?

in DOS
Well! I created a WinMe boot disk. As per the instructions from the SBLIVE2SB16 download, I replaced the boot disk's HIMEM.SYS with the downloaded version, copied EMM386 to the floppy and moved the downloaded SBLIVE folder to C:\SBLIVE. I added the following lines to the AUTOEXEC.BAT: SET BLASTER= …

I found the following information at one DOS help site I looked at: Originally posted in The WinDowS Tricks - Part 18 To check whether you have already got your dos drivers set up for your SB-Live, right click My Computer, choose Properties, go to the Device Manager tab, expand the Creative …

How to get Adlib sound support on WinMe?

in DOS
There's an old DOS game I've been playing lately called Bloodwych, and although it plays, I can't get the sound to work correctly. I'm running WinMe with a Soundblaster Live! (Value) card. The sound options upon loading are Roland, Adlib, Tandy and Internal Bleeper. I don't get any sound from Adlib …
