Thanks everyone. I found it in my Linux home directory. I wasn't looking very logically. Working on the speed problem now. I am sure I will have more questions later.

I have just installed DosBox and it's running under Linux. When I try to "config -writeconf test" no file is produced. When I try to speed up using the F-keys nothing happens. However the ALT-ENTER does change the screen size. I read the dosbox guides but Linux is not covered. Any help would be much …
