Okay cool! Thanks a lot ripsaw! I have a feeling that might work because as I was searching around, I did find some instructions on installing games on multiple floppys (on .iso's) and they were talking about loading disks when prompted. You guys here are really great. I appreciate the help!

Further search has led to some success. I found a command to mount a folder on my hard drive as a floppy . . . mount a ~/games/dosgames/speedr/ -t floppy And it worked. And I didn't install to C:\SPEED . . . the install folder is actually named: SpeedR. I installed form that folder and the installer created a new folder called "SPEED" as it did last time.

okay . . . so it worked just like it did before (I guess the 'command.com' file I was using before was identical). Okay. so I just typed... mount c ~/games/dosgames/ and it says Drive C is mounted as local directory then I typed: copy z:\command.com c:\ and it says "COMMAND.COM - 1 file(s) copied. so that's good. Now I will try and install again . . . I'll let you know how it goes . . .

I just typed in exactly what you said and it came back with "illegal path" ??? I pretty uuch followed the manual as for my c: drive path . . . mount c ~/games/ But are you talking about something else? --Cause maybe that's my big problem. I haven't mounted any floppy drives

Dominus . . . I DLed the "snapshot for OSX" I assume that's the right thing. Thanks a lot! But no, my problem is not really solved. I guess I found the right file, but the install didn't work right even though it said "Install successful." Please see my earlier 3rd post. Thanks!

I just tried typing "copy command.com" inside DOSBox and it said "Copy failure - 0 files copied." I guess I was editing my last post when you posted your reply. I think I did find a copy of the file anyway.
