Re: sound?

Both being protected mode games, it's possible they just don't work right under the current CVS. (Like dosbox says when you start it up, Dosbox does not run protected mode games) However, some things you want to avoid/try with sound setup programs: Avoid autodetection... Even on a native SB with a …

Re: Intro command output -help wanted

Yeah, that shot is from the current CVS. The doorgame doesn't actually work fully right. Although the universe generation works, the game freaks out on some turn actions. Probably the file access (TW2002 supported multinode BBS's, so it opened in a file mode which allowed simultaneous writes from …

Same results, except the palette doesn't go nuts until after the first graphics mode switch. After I exit the game (any game, any mode), the dosbox …

(I've tried it with 256, 16m, and 32m color mode) Is this normal? I've seen windowed screenshots from other machines …

Re: Comments on the screenshots of the cvs

Latest CVS, UFO works great, albeit a little slowly on my Athlon 2.0ghz, with digital sound disabled. Midi works and sounds great. (using Roland/LAPC1 music) Edit: I will confirm the game crash when Soundblaster digital audio is enabled. Something fishy about the way those guys (the ufo guys) wrote …
