Bedlam I was reading an article while flying on KLM and as soon as I read the word "bedlam".... I instantly remembered it was the name of the unknown isometric alien shooter of 1995/6. It's like my dorment brain cells just got activated after 14 years...

yeah, SP2 gives lagged controls. SP1a was perfect with no laggy ness. as for VDMSound, try SB Pro2 rather than SB16. It is emulating the sound and VDMSound hasn't been updated in years. but SB Pro2 has no crackling.

Blood 1.00, 1.11, 1.20, etc. runs best under Windows XP vanilla or SP1a. It doesn't run too well under SP2 or SP3 but it can still run. I doubt anyone will still be on SP1a. If you are on SP2 or SP3 then just give it a try. Try a vanilla installation of Blood, then copy the folder, and then install …

Yes, you are right. I just remembered about large memory models (because of the 16-bit complications). Yes, ALL DOS mode 13 graphics programming now fully compile and work. Now... to test on PSP DosBox.....

They all compile & run perfectly fine under native Windows XP 32-bit on a 32-bit CPU (like the old original P4). It's just if one compiles using DOSBox's Turbo C++ then it produces wrong machine code (I think). But the point is, I want to help debug and get DOS graphics working from a Turbo C++ 3.0 …
