When you switch to DOS out of Win98 it uses DOSSTART.BAT so you need to have something like: LH C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\MSCDEX.EXE /D:PIONEER /V in there to start the CD support. I believe you also need some lines for the sound card real mode drivers but it has been quite a while since I've done that.

The rudder control is supported in Duke Nukem 3D as well as the CH flightstick. Guess I'll play with the control settings some more.
