Where did you get the damn software for this card? I've had one for several years and couldn't use it because I didn't have the appropriate software. I looked all over for it. The software for my regular AWE32 didn't like it.

I have a Hercules Graphite DRAM that uses the Trio64 (S3 764) chipset. It's basically an integrated and enhanced version of the 864. I found this card to be quite a lot slower than the W32P in real world use.

It's too bad that AMD took so damn long to get the K6 III, K6 2+ and K6 3+ out the door. If they had come out a few years earlier they would have been great chips for legacy upgrades.

There is a reason to go RAMBUS on the PIII. From what I recall back then if you wanted 133MHz FSB with an intel chipset, you pretty much had to use the i820 or i840. I don't think I'd consider this a "pizza box" case. It's a baby AT desktop. "Pizza Box" is reserved for the ultra low profile cases that are nearly as thin as actual pizza boxes.

I think you'll find that the VLB works much better with the hybrid 386/486 chips. I have an IBM 486DLC2-66 installed, and the thing really flies.

AMI Baby Screamer is a great board, but once again this one has the non standard chips. You should try to find a later revision of the Baby Screamer which has standard 28-pin SRAMS.
