I have a strange problem with Ultima Underworld and DOSBox 0.74-3: if I run the game twice and quit, it will freeze on exit the second time. Tried changing core/CPU/cycles/music card/EMS/XMS etc. but nothing changes the fact the game will freeze on quit the second time. Other users can confirm? …

I thought about the same problem and then I've written a "very little" program to do that. Just put it to the directory where dosbox will go into after start and add in the configfile in the autoexec area: locks.exe There are also other possibilities but don't ask me ^^ Hope that will help you. …

As a workaround a simple prompt command line: Copy code to clipboard 1 mixer mt32 200:200 did the trick... but if someone knows better WC and how to adjust volume will be appreciated.

WC (first one) works fine for me with DOSBox, including MT32 properly configured in the .conf (+ VirtualMidiSynth by Coolsoft). My only problem is the volume of music/sounds with MT32: quite low. Is there something that can be done?

Another issue: after I run POP2 MT32 (any version), other games like Budokan MT32 or Lakers vs Celtics and the NBA Playoffs MT32 have music messed up sounding like a wrong soundfont... Yes, but since I've found dgVoodoo2 has a scanline screen mode I thought it would be nice having support for external shaders like scummvm etc. (as mentioned by legluondunet) built-in in one single program.
