I haven't encountered any problems with that so far. I did have to apply a patch to some other dos games because my cpu was too fast tho.

It wasn't on CS at all, the jumper was set on Slave. I just put it into master, so I haven't tried if CS actually works.

Uhhh... nope, I do not. Never thought I needed it. But I guess I do now. This must be one of those rare Dos games where you need to have the CD in at all times and it actually pulls stuff from there.

So uh, just if anyone's curious or has had the same problem, I found the solution. Had a cable lying around with a 3.5mm plug on each end. Plugged one end into the line out of the PCI sound card, and the other end into the line in of the ISA sound card. Works like a charm. That’s what I said to do …
