Re: Windows 95 OSR 2.5 - Duplicate drives

in Windows
Here’s an update: I disconnected the CD-ROM from secondary IDE and the drive duplication went away. I haven’t done anything since that moment, as I’m now travelling for work. Will look into it more when I return.

Thanx for the tips… Ribbon cable is good… if it was installed wrong the bios wouldn’t see it. Do I know it’s good; however I’ll swap it out and see if it makes a difference. It’s a single drive, no other devices attached and it’s set on master not cable select. Looking at device manager in both …

in Windows
As my subject states, I am installing Windows 95 OSR 2.5 onto a single HDD (6GB). Upon first boot, the system crashes when I open "My Computer". Once I cold boot, and Scandisk searches the drive it sees a second HDD a D: drive. The single 6GB drive only has on partition and formatted to the fullest. …

Re: DOSBox Mac .app file...

Thnx for your advice, To find the creator of this .app file. That's the real trick, isn't it? I have no idea who the creator is, but I was able to examine the contents and I was able to alter the game settings to play the way I want it to play. Now that I can do this, I should be able to pretty much …
