I had this problem too, but I found that if you slow ctrl F11 the cycles down, and I mean really slow them down to 100 or so it eventually excepts your cd drive speed...

Yes mine was still shrink wrapped... he had many other sealed DOS games too... why can I never come upon a horde of unopened ex shop stock... I can only dream!!

I do this then it asks for #1 again... but does not recognise it... or any other disk?? I tried installing outside Dosbox and it works …

Wow theres alot of love for Sierra to go to all this trouble... i'll try the installer... but I do enjoy picking the directoys out manually and setiing it up myself...

Though I am not complaining about copy protection in its self as I am a bit of a purest and enjoy in some weird way inputting words from the manual... but but at least give me the manual Sierra.... aaarrggghhh
