Thank you all so very much once more for your time and patience with me. All is sorted out now. I found the ALT/ENTER line Ripa, and now have full screen when playing the game. I still need to type a liine when first firing up but that is nothing, only a few seconds. John

And now the last bit gentle people. How do I access this "dosbox.conf" file to add the lines that auto start the game in DOSBox? I cannot find it I am afraid. John

Thank you so very, very much for your wonderful help chaps. The game is working now, albeit on a small screen rather than a full screen BUT, it WORKS!!! Now just to sort out what to do so I do not have to go through all the palaver again then next time I want to play it!! John
