I would very much like to see DOS Glide support in DOSBox someday. I would prefer it to be fully emulated, but the stuff gulikoza is working on sounds awesome aswell. Good luck gulikoza! 😎

This is neat stuff 😀 So future DOSBox will be able to read bin/cue files? Do the audio tracks have to be in mp3/ogg/whatever or can one leave them as is?

It means what the output of DOSBox will be. So if a sound plays in 22khz internally, it then will be converted into whatever your DOSBox option is before it's actually played.

The Sound Blaster Pro play stereo in 22khz. The Sound Blaster 16 was the first Sound Blaster that could play stereo in 44khz. So you have to wait until the SB16 is fully emulated by DOSBox.

Here in Sweden we write it in YYMMDD 😁 I belive that's the ISO way of doing it, but I'm not 100% sure.

Support for 16 Bit resolutions is one of my most wanted features 😎 Another thing would be cool if there was Voodoo emulation for the later DOS games that supports it 😁 But something like that will most likely not happen for quite some time, if ever. 😖

I have the same problems with some games. Like the CD version of TES: Arena. The floppy version (which is now available for free at www.elderscrolls.com) works fine and can save without any problems.
