I meant the game doesn't have any option for no sound, so even i type blaster=false it still won't because it will stil give me the same message always. The message i attached, cheers for your help guys

Just tried it, In VDMSound and DosBOX 0.60 both i set the config for all ranges still no go. Darn, this thing. I wouldn't mind playing the game without sound except I don't have that option. There is no option for no sound. Darn it😕

Did you try DosBOX 0.60, should work. According to the website doom 1 & 2 works. And i believe strife should work. And also win98SE is the best pre-win2k OS out there, win95SE is next in line, and ME is a something that should be forgotten. cheers

There is no file like that, the only executable file is sh2.exe. According to the readme file. the error i get means it can't detect a supported sound card. Even when using VDMSound. I think there is a specific configuration for VDMSound i need to make the program run.😕
