ahh ok sorry to barge in on the topic, just say if you want it on its own topic. This problem has been bugging me for a long time, are there any ideas to fix?

hmm is this why Xwing doesnt play some samples well? Recorded a sample from p166 machine with SB16 and compared to dosbox v0.72 (changing laser firing mode) Also notice the waveform for dosbax doesnt play heaps of the negative part. .

You could always run Tilt! with VDM sound Get the Fix2 zip Setup the soundcard in dosbox but dont test, copy HMISET.CFG over to C:\tilt Set vdm shortcut for tilt.bat Dont use fast mode and everything will cook 😀

Some problems but its working, you will see much ball/flipper transparency/flicker with cpu cycles that are too low, monster rig is advised for this one 😉

had success running by switching dos4gw.exe (v1.6) with v1.95 - That was with the rip version.

windowed mode? you cant use custom sizes with draging. Theres the scaler option; scaler=advmame2x or normal2x. Will give double sized display and other benifits with a speed hit.

has anyone tried using the built-in win 3.1 program manager on XP? Start > run > progman.exe Supports drag'n'drop too 😁

Yep getting the same video pauses as yourself, if you turn off all features and sound these are reduced. The main reason tho is blood requires at least pentium 75. Dosbox can reach approx 486DX 100 currently, give this one some time.

For an awefully long time this games been gathering dust becasue i simply cannot get it to run in virtual pc, vdm, all manner of dos configurations / versions, my oldtimer p166 and dosbox :( The problem was common to 2 more terminator titles by bethudsa 2029 & Rampage the latter getting a "pentium …

On dosbox page click on login > register. after that you can add 😁 give us all a nice read if you find any tricks to getting entries working.
