Not really, but each version tends to have it's own serial from whatever OEM released it. There's also a lot of v1.0 and 1.1 discs, it's hard to track them all down. I think there may well be over 100 of them.

I still collect MechWarrior 2 CD's so if you know the serial numbers I can check if I have a specific disc. I have 30 or more presently.

Ahh machine learning at it's best, Malwarebytes is now blocking vogons with a trojan alert, probably because it misdetects dgvoodoo2 as malware, or a host of other things here... lovely

SIS installer (google for it) is able to install your old steam retail copies, you can then use steamless or the aforementioned emulators. Very handy to play for ex, the 1st release of Half Life 2.

I too would like the dos exe triggers recovered, I'd much rather not have the ambient music and have the game as it was intended. 3dfx version is great to. I'd love to see this happen for tomb raider gold levels as well.
