Then you're completely fine. Those small black bars in the menu/map are a feature of 3dfx version.

Burn the cds or switch back to direct3d, change the iso, make new savegame and return to 3dfx renderer. I sent an email to nglide devs. They will take a look on this.

The onyl solution i have foud is to deactivate the direct 3d, but that way i cant play the game with hardware acceleration, there must be a better solution. .. and there is.
