Just thought I'd give my fellow Tyrians a heads up. The best you can do really is to go to windowed mode before quitting, so you can more easily get at the taskbar, the task manager, or the window's close button.

Run it with the latest version of DOSBox in full screen. On a 2GHz machine ~30000 cycles should be sufficient. If you have slow FPS, go to Game Options and disable Refresh Rate. I found this today and just wanted to share with anyone who wants to improve this game's performance.

VPC 5.2 (from before Connectix was bought out) actually runs Crusader okay. There are sticky key issues, but they're nowhere near as bad as DOSBox's. Under 2004 it gives me an Exception 14; is that what you fellow Crusader players are getting?
