WOW! I fixed it. I completely deleted the game from my c: drive with a character backup of course. Then reinstalled the game. I restarted it and INSURED that I selected "ega" from the graphics and sound selection menus. DO NOT SELECT "cga" or "tandy"!!!! repeat prior sentence. I reconfig'd dosbox to …

The first pic is discolored by windows paint for some reason. The gameplay colors are that of the second pic. (strange). I'm also posting the dosbox config snapshot.

I found this post and coincidentally suffering from the same problem. With DOSbox I have used every setting possible in the config settings. A solution would make the game much more enjoyable. TY
