Re: Emulate old Web?

I don't have the time to mess with it right now, but I came across the following docker build that looks promising: https://hub.docker.com/r/ikreymer/pywb-proxy-wayback/ From the looks of it, this allows you to use pywb as a proxy for the Wayback Machine. I'm going to try and see if I can get it …

My late 90s gaming machine

This system has been my main project for a while, with my goal being to make a pretty awesome late-90s Windows 98 gaming machine. When it came to me, as a donation from a friend whose computer I was fixing, it was equipped with a modest Celeron 300A (non-overclocked), 64MB RAM, an ATI Xpert 98 card, …

Re: Retro Rig Photo Thread

I'm 20 and I'm a retrocomputing nut. My first computer was a Cyrix 486 machine (386 mobo), and for the last few years, I've been collecting every piece of retro hardware I can get my hands on. I also have a huge infatuation with 90s hacker culture and the demoscene. My old computer book collection …

Re: My first computer

So, I have an issue with it now; when I run it for about 15 minutes, the screen turns blue. I'm thinking that may be a cold solder joint on the VGA card, as it does it with every monitor I use with it. Any other ideas before I open it up?
