Gaming Glint has it's small library. There is different use value for a gamer and for a collector, or guys like me, who like to shed some more light on hardware little is know of. I know Voodoo5 does not make me feel so excited like rare card from first generation, independently of compatibility.

Paid $108 for bare 3400XL recently. Edge 3D were relatively plenty and nowadays only collectors look after such hardware, so it is all about how rare the card is. I wish for better prices, but there are less and less offers as time goes by.

No, I used it before, now it shows 2048kb for both and afaik there were no 4MB framebuffer Voodoos for PC at all.

Since I moved to Windows 98 SE one problem appeared. My Inno MightyFX seems to use only 2 MB of texture memory, either with Windows or latest official driver. Is there some fix?

I would not settle for simply saying 1064 works, my revision H does not. Tomb Raider works OK on 1064. No LAGs, nice color, crisp image. How could people expect demo like LOCOMOTV to run 20th century consumer graphics, let alone nv1? Stiletto wrote: there's more than one Diamond Edge 3D in the series with different chipsets STG2000 and NV1 are same thing, for what I know the only difference between the two was memory type used.

Only Virge VX could have 8MB, and they are clocked slowly and have little overclocking headroom. Not really meaningful for s3d games. Then there are 8MB Trio3D/2X, but I would not expect much compatibility.

It fails with Terminal Velocity, but hopefully most of s3d library will be fine using newer toolkit.
