I'd rather worry about the bent pin shorting another sooner or later. Just slowly and carefully bend it back and you should be fine.

Not exactly sure what you want to do. Dosbox allows you to emulate software that uses CGA ... along with all it's eye-cancery goodness.

Might be fun to design such a card if you want to get yourself familiar with electronic design, but then again there are Soundblaster 2.0 cards readily available for small money ($5 vs. roughly $30 for such a DIY card). 15€ - AZTECH Sound Galaxy NX Pro 16 boxed and like new (it's that one card that supports wss, adlib, soundblaster pro, wavetable (onboard or daughterboard) and Covox/DSS, while including a SCSI connector) ... possibly the most feature packed card for the IBM
