the memory tricks/settings in Rowan's detailed readme [same in bth games] only covers dos 3-6 which make sense if you say an older dos may help. I'm taking my first stabs at allocating mem locations in the EMM line, slow trial/error work, and yet an new undiscovered land...

I have Dawn Patrol running in Hi-Res mode under DOS using the SDD Univbe dos driver. However the autoexec/configsys that works for Dawn doesn't yield enough conventional ram for Overlord. The updated AN430TX motherboard bios raises the bar to a P3-1000. So eBay and a $5 solution/gamble we will see. If the Tualatin is cool I will have regained lost performance from backing off the Athlon 1100... Really dig the 3dfx cards.

well, it's a pci USB2 card I need, not a mobo that supports it. and Awergh, I have tried nUSB33 in various permutations. After 3 or 4 cards I'mlooking for the "easy" solution haha, ie, someone with my board and the name of the usb card that works!
