Clipper, config.sys and Linux

I have a Clipper-made program that needs 'FILES=171' in config.sys and 'set CLIPPER=f171' in autoexec.bat. Autoexec is not a problem, but what about config.sys ? I read somewhere a nice suggestion: 'run it natively', but what if I'm on a LINUX box ? 😢
