Hello to all, I would like to ask one question regarding having a computer setup with all V1/V2(sli optional)/V3 graphics cards present. Would it add any benefit regarding dos gaming as opposed to having just V2 sli or V3 for example? thanks

the pentium pro is not that fast according to this review http://www.anandtech.com/print/296 and the k6-2 is not that bad neither. from what i have seen, the k6-2/3 where very close to the pentium 2/3 in glide the k6-2+ was quite better than pentum II

you're going to see a difference with that c2q only if you play the few games that take advantage of the multiple cores which is not that many.

for dos games that p3 might be a little too fast, depending on what era of games you'll play. i don't remember if the multiplier/fsb is locked or not so you can slow it down. disabling the cache is another option too. also that ct4170 is a SB16 but without an OPL3 chip, but compatibility with dos …

I apologize if this has been discussed before, but I found a SB16 CT2910 ISA card with the original YMF289-B OPL3-L as the seller says. I currently have a CT3670 and i've read that it doesn't have a real OPL and is quite noisy too. Is the CT2910 a good replacement? thank you
